This is a photo of me with the T-38 trainer. The T-38 was called the "White Rocket" because it was the hottest airplane in the inventory. We could take that airplane from brake release to 50,000 feet in 90 seconds. Eat your heart out, Maserati!

We were all cocky, immortal heroes back then.
