"The Old Bell"

This is a painting of an antique bronze bell that we have had for quite some time. The bell was inherited from a relative who collected bells a long time ago. It is old, but I do not know its actual age.

I painted this in one sitting of about 2 1/2 hours to see if I could do a painting that quickly. Most of my paintings take months to do, and I wanted to do something a bit more spontaneous.
