"Rockland Harbor Light"
The Rockland Harbor Light sits on a breakwater in the harbor of Rockland Maine.
The breakwater is made of huge granite stones that extend seven tenths of a mile
into the harbor.
The light house itself has lots of interesting architectural details whose regularity
is contrasted to the natural shapes of the rocks on which it sits. I thought that
it would be a good subject for a pen and ink drawing, and this is the result.
