In the Winter of 1993 we suffered a blizzard and ice storm that left the trees burdened beneath mounds of sticky ice and snow. This was the view out the back windows of our house as the clouds cleared and the sun set. Just about the only color was in the sky.
This is a very long and narrow painting to emphasize the panoramic view of the woods. This small photo does not do the painting justice.
